The voice...

A system that integrates with a phone system and ACD (Automatic call dispatching) and analyses the customer's voice.
Depending on a few key elements detected during the analysis (age, race, level of anxiety, pace, tone, etc...), the system would direct the customer to the best matching voice :

An angry 60 years old man -> a nice lady with a relaxing voice...
A 17 years old teenager -> a 18 year old rep ?

By recording the voice envelope, it can even be used to recognize the client every time, and bring his file on computer (CTI – Computer Telephony integration).

Sounders...

Sounders...

Yes, the technology already exists... No, this is not plagiarism, as I have been thinking of this idea for the past 20 years.

Imagine a system able to turn any surface or structure to rubble in a few seconds... Imagine it being even more powerful under water!

A system able to send a ‘shockwave’ that could be used for :

- digging
- demolition
- climate control
- etc…
- and of course, military…

Basically, a modified boom-box...

The concept :

- two opposite sound waveforms, precisely synchronized are sent against a surface.
- The two ‘sounds’ bounce against the surface, creating a slight difference of synchronization, causing a blast (relative to the power of the ‘amplifier’ and ‘speaker’ equipment used)

It would be extremely difficult to find the source of the blast, the sound ‘ray’ being a very narrow cone, and silent (one ‘positive’ waveform + one ‘negative’ waveform = mute each other)

A system based on this concept was patented recently to be used as sound transmission system. It works with ultrasound, and from the descriptions I read, is very similar to the ‘sounder’ idea. Not intended for destructive purposes, it does not require much power.

Check it out here

Any comments ?

Power Trees / Reed

A simple concept, really...

Imagine if we could harness the power of the wind... in a very ecological way that would provide almost unlimited electricity with close to zero pollution...

Sounds too good to be true ?

Concept :

- develop some genetically modified trees or reed that have the following specs :
o sap will have to contain a conductive element (high concentration of iron?)
o sap may also contain quartz crystals and some “chemical mechanism” to somehow bond these crystals together.
o Soil has to be conductive, or development of a conductive “rhizome” connecting the roots of the plants
o sterile (to avoid contamination and spreading)

When the wind blows, the reed stems are bent, creating pressure in the quartz crystal “core”. This create a potential difference (if I remember correctly my physics classes), thus creating a flow of electrons.

Channel this flow and you have electricity… every time the wind blows…

This is a very basic concept. It can be applied to a lot of other plants :

- Trees
- Algae
- Bamboo
- Fabric / flags
- Etc…

Another option (requiring nanotechnology ) is to “spray” microscopic turbines with conductive “hooks” on the leaves of modified trees or reed.

When the wind blows, the turbines, anchored to the plant, turn to the wind (as a flag would), and start producing electricity. It is then transferred (through the hook) to the sap, and to the root network (rhizome).
